Japan-based blacksmith Yoshia Hamono created the new Bunka Japanese Chef Knife -- a hand-forged blade that is sharp enough to be used by a professional, but affordable enough to use at home.
The new robust and versatile knife is capable of conquering all common jobs in the kitchen easily, without needing to be sharpened. The blade was made of ZDP-189 steel that is popular for its corrosion resistance as well as is edge retention. The stylish rosewood handle has a modern asymmetric design that was fitted to sit perfectly in the palm.
