Steel-Wrapped Contemporary Homes

Studio MM Architect Designs the Bully Hill House in New York

New York City-based design studio Studio MM Architect finishes the Bully Hill House, which is a house that is wrapped in Corten steel. It has a breezeway that connects to a home studio and this is located in New York's North Branch. The home takes advantage of the vantage point facing South and ensures that it is filled with views seen from the living space. It is designed for a retired couple with simple looks.

McKeel speaks to Dezeen, stating that "Everything non-essential was stripped away, and our clients chose long-lasting, low-maintenance materials for the project that would serve them well as they aged in place." The aforementioned Corten steel panels are seen wrapped around the exterior of the house.
