20-Year Straight Rye Whiskeys

Bulleit Frontier Whiskey Debuts Its Oldest Straight Rye Expression

Bulleit Frontier Whiskey has introduced its oldest straight rye expression to date, a 20-Year-Old Rye that will be available in an extremely limited run of just 1,776 individually numbered bottles.

This ultra-premium offering is crafted from the brand's signature high-rye mashbill, which consists of 95% rye. The expression was aged for two full decades in Kentucky warehouses before being bottled at cask strength. The final 20-Year-Old Rye boasts an alcohol content of 68.5% by volume. It opens with seasoned oak, warm baking spices, and dried fruit notes, before leading the consumer to a palate with caramelized sweetness and dark fruit before a long, layered finish.

The development of Bulleit Frontier Whiskey's oldest straight rye whiskey was led by Nicole Austin, Director of American Whiskey Liquid Development at Diageo. He carefully selected barrels that could sustain 20 years of maturation while preserving the bold, spicy character that has become synonymous with the Bulleit name.
