These luxe and bright apartments are located at the far end of Meir which is the busiest shopping district in the city of Antwerp. Local design studio Bovenbouw brings together the 19t-century buildings to create contemporary dwellings that retain some of their historic charms. The original facades were preserved, while the end result brings eight new bright apartments that are located above shopping level.
The living abodes' dynamic neighborhood will surely amplify the convenience for residents, while their highly sculptural and gorgeous interior adds to a refined aesthetic. Bovenbouw focused on fostering a distinct identity for each of the bright apartments. Attempting to unify through diversity, each space was developed "through a method of association and improvisation."
