The Bolete chair by Patricia Urquiola for Andreu World is a fully upholstered seating design built around a sculptural central base and an enveloping seat form. Spanish furniture brand Andreu World produces the chair using a Pure ECO® thermopolymer shell made from 100 percent recycled and recyclable material, which supports the upholstered seat and back. The geometry is defined by a wide, curved seat and integrated backrest that adapts to different sitting positions.
A grooved base forms the visual core of the design, giving the chair its distinctive profile and structural support. Upholstery wraps the internal shell as a continuous surface, with fabric options available across multiple finishes. The construction is designed for disassembly, allowing materials to be separated and reused at the end of the product’s lifecycle.
