Free Bike-Share Passes

Lyft is Offering Free Access to Bikes for Health Care Workers Across the US

Lyft is now offering free bike-share passes for medical workers, operating in New York City, Chicago, and Boston. The bike-share passes will give these essential workers free access for a period of 30 days. Lyft also stated that it is increasing its cleaning practices for the bikes.

Polly Trottenberg, the NYC DOT Commissioner, spoke about Lyft's efforts, "Having seen higher demand for Citi Bikes near our critical hospitals, Lyft has arrived at a generous and creative plan that will help get first responders where they need to go."

Lyft is also providing hospital workers in New York City with a free Citi Bike membership for one month. Bikes will also be disinfected every time they are dropped off at the depot.
