Add some comfort and character to your home with these adorable bicycle basket-inspired chairs from Gaber.

The Italian brand collaborated with Italian designer Alessandro Busana to create this new eccentric and colorful collection. The bicycle basket-inspired chairs collection was recently unveiled at the Salone Internazionale del Mobile at Milan Design Week 2014.

Inspired by traditional woven baskets found on the front of bikes, Busana recreated the look and was able to create a stackable chair collection with a minimal and modern look. The chairs are available in six colors and the legs are also customizable, so customers can choose between wood, plastic or metal legs.

"I researched basket construction and I saw that in the beginning there's a minimal structure that inspired me to create that kind of rhythm, between the full and empty parts, in the shell of the seat," says Busana.
