Plant-Based Jerky

Beyond Meat and PepsiCo Introduce New 'Beyond Meat Jerky' Line

Beyond Meat, a Los Angeles-based food company specializing in plant-based meat alternatives has teamed up with PepsiCo to launch Beyond Meat Jerky. The new vegan-friendly jerky is the first product belonging to the two brands' recently established 'Planet Partnership' joint venture.

Beyond Meat Jerky is made entirely from plant-derived ingredients including mung beans and peas, and contains an impressive 10 grams of protein per serving. In addition, the savory snack is free of soy, gluten, cholesterol and GMOs. As of right now, Beyond Meat Jerky is being offered in three flavors: Original, Teriyaki, and Hot & Spicy.

“The nationwide launch of Beyond Meat Jerky will make plant-based meat accessible to millions of households. It tastes great, it’s a good source of protein, and it’s convenient to eat whether you’re on the go, at the office or out on adventures," said Dan Moisan, CEO of Planet Partnership.
