Protein-Rich Beer Pairings

Forked River Brewing Co. Created a Tasting Menu for Beer and Sausages

Forked River Brewing Co. and Sikorski Sausages are two local businesses in Ontario, Canada, that recently teamed up to create pairing suggestions for their respective beer and sausage products.

Some of the unique combinations suggested include Forked River's Capital Blonde Ale with Sikorski Sausages' Polish ham kolbassa, or the Reforest Kelly Sour Bourbon-Barrel Aged Imperial Stout with Hungarian sausage. The five beer and sausage pairings will be sampled at an upcoming event at Forked River Brewing Co.

Although many young consumers are intimidated by the idea of attending tastings with traditional wine pairings, the rise of craft beer culture has created space for consumers to experiment with beer and snack food at home.
