Eatery Dirigo Public House celebrates its one year anniversary by taking the epic challenge of creating a 100-pound beef burger to honor the special occasion. The burger featured an ultra-thick and gargantuan solid patty that is sandwiched between two large buns and topped with all the condiment fixings. The large size burger was shared between members of a crowd that showed up to celebrate the restaurant's birthday.
The gargantuan burger feature a patty made from 70-pounds of ground beef and a speciality made bun to match. The burger's thick patty is cooked to a medium temperature -- most likely because it would have taken quite some time to cook the patty fully through. The sandwich is then topped with lettuce, tomato and mayo and served to hungry eaters at the Dirigo Public House celebrations.
