The Good People Brewing Company has launched a new beer called the Bearded Lady. The company has created its own version of a traditional wheat beer with this light-bodied, citrus-infused, easy-drinking ale.
The package to accompany this fresh new brew was created by Lewis Communications. It is a gold and brown can with the image of a bearded lady on it. The lady's image is illustrated and made into a profile view that accentuates the length of the beard, while highlighting the feminine features of the woman such as her long hair and lipstick.
This brew is a new take on traditional wheat beer, so the packaging had to be as inventive as the beer itself. The name and the label pair hand-in-hand and create a shockingly unique visual for consumers that is also a novelty item worth collecting.
