— April 3, 2018 — Art & Design
Remote and immersed in nature, The Bear Stand Retreat is a modern and luxurious cabin placed right on Contau Lake, Ontario. Located on 100 acres of private land, the home has a network of private trails that are well-kept and open year round.

The exterior is clad with cedar siding and blackened cement, the contemporary structure blends perfectly into the surrounding nature. The interior features fir-lined walls with the ability to sleep 12 at once throughout the four comfortable bedrooms. The open living room acts as the heart of the home with a handmade fireplace created from locally-sourced granite.

Finishing off The Bear Stand Retreat are the luxe spa-like amenities including the private outdoor sauna, ofuro soaking bathtub and a large hot tub that looks out on to the lake.
