Blackened Timber Tranquil Cabins

The Hideaway House is Nestled in the Abundance of Nature

The Hideaway House is a cozy retreat that was originally designed by Blue Sky Architecture, which will later be renovated. The home is the getaway from one's busy lifestyle with all of the privacy incorporated into its design, resting on the base of a mountain overlooking views of the Gulf Islands in British Colombia.

At a glance, the home is made from blackened timber materials and rests on a private mountain surrounded by greenery. The ancient forest around the home leads visitors to the summit of the large natural reserve that is 500 feet above sea level. It was originally built in 1998 by Blue Sky Architecture and has since been renovated by Measured Architecture in 2021.
