Medicom's Latest BE@RBRICK is Named the 'Van Gogh Museum'
Amy Duong — August 26, 2019 — Art & Design
Medicom Toy unveils its latest iteration of the iconic BE@RBRICK bear figurine and it is full of emblems that recall the late artist Vincent Van Gogh. It takes design inspiration directly from his still life series, 'Sunflowers' and the latest figurine is named 'Van Gogh Museum.'
It arrives in the sizes varying from 100%, 400%, as well as 1000%, featuring a glossy finish as the final coating. The hazel color palette is burnt in its design to go seamlessly with the muted hues that are delivered by the yellow sunflowers referenced throughout the entire design. The word "Vincent" is diagonally placed on the back of the bear figurine to mimic the artist's signature. The bottom right leg features a stamp that references its namesake, "Van Gogh Museum."
