Brewed Bagel Beers

Folksbier & Black Seed Bagels Collaborated on 'Black Seed Glow Up'

Folksbier and Black Seed Bagels teamed up to create a unique bagel beer by the name of 'Black Seed Glow Up' that's truly a bagel-based beer—the Berliner Weisse-style sour wheat beer was made by brewing leftover bagels and honey in place of wheat.

Black Seed Bagels is passionate about doing whatever it can to reduce its waste, which has led to the creation of everything from bagel chips and bread crumbs to croutons. In comparison to the regular Glow Up beer from Folksbier, this new creation is said to be hazier thanks to the large amount of gluten from the bagels. Additionally, the recipe swaps Folksbier's traditional fruit for honey.

Black Seed Glow Up is set to be available at a range of restaurants and bars and is said to pair well with a variety of snacks.
