Michelle, the talented blogger behind the food blog That's So Michelle, crafted these adorable and sumptuous Bacon Cupcakes. While cupcakes and bacon are now old pals, these cupcakes deserve a little limelight for their dazzling frosting job.

Michelle chose to emulate bacon's natural companion and topped the porky cakes with a dollop of buttercream made up to look like a sunny-side up egg. To add to the awesome icing, Michelle placed a butterscotch candy in the center to emulate the sunny yolk of a perfectly fried egg and added a light sprinkling of poppy seeds to serve as a standing for the usual pepper.
