Ava Bar in Bulgaria is one of the most beautiful airport lounges I’ve ever seen. Jovo Bozhinovski designed Ava Bar so that the furniture would look like it’s floating. The floor-to-ceiling windows and clean black-and-white aesthetic combine with the furniture to let weary travelers feel at peace.

Implications - Everyday air travel isn't known for its luxury these days, but some airports are infusing sumptuous accommodations and amenities into their lounges and food courts to give stressed travelers a reprieve between flights. Modern, minimalist design makes these spaces easy on the eyes, and the addition of comfortable furniture turns a contemporary lounge into a must-visit airport hotspot.
