Restaurant marketing is getting more interesting and sophisticated, which means that to stand out from this flood of brands in people’s every day lives, restaurants have to be creative and resourceful in order to attract consumers’ interests and help them relate to a product. Yeppar is doing this by introducing augmented reality for restaurants by bringing menu cards to life. These augmented reality menu cards look normal from a distance, but when a smartphone is presented before them, they become alive.
Having a restaurant augmented reality app helps to engage more customers, add more value and bring more revenue by transforming the conventional traditional paper-based menu system. Diners coming to restaurants can have an interactive dining experience with the help of an AR app -- they could be able to select from different available seats and customize their tables. Besides, a multi-media menu allows them to see ingredients and nutritional information for any menu item in the form of 3D images.
