St. Louis based embroiderer and artist Cayce Zavaglia has been doing something rather amazing with her realistic embroidered portraits. The life-like works of art are extremely captivating and each one has a story of inner beauty and outward beauty.
This intriguing artist video goes into the home of artist Cayce Zavaglia and investigates the step-by-step process that she goes through in her home studio to create this stunning portraits. Cayce is a mother of four and she is calling her process a "renegade approach to embroidery."
Each portrait she completes has two sides; one that showcases the outward beauty of an individual and the the flip side showcases the inner workings of that outer beauty.
Cayce will have her work on display at Art Miami through Lyons Wier Gallery throughout December.
