Illusory Hovering Tree Art

This Cleverly Painted Art on Trees Augments the Tree's Appearance

This incredible art on trees by Daniel Siering and Mario Shu augments the appearance of a tree to make it seem as if it is floating in mid air. From a distance, the illusion is completely mind-blowing.

The street artists wrapped a cloth around a portion of the tree and were able to make it seem like the middle section of the tree disappeared by painting the scenery behind it on the cloth. At the top of the cloth, the tree is made to seem like it has been cut in half and now magically floating above the trunk. The image isn’t perfect, but the accuracy of the horizon line is spot on and this really makes the amazing illusion seem credible.
