The Asian Congress of Architects Forum will host the Architects Regional Council Asia, also known as ARCASIA, in a conference in Hong Kong to discuss environmental sustainability in architecture and design.

The summit's purpose was to discuss "effective ways of using traditional materials like wood in modern buildings," essentially balancing contemporary designs with sustainability in order to create progressive cities and regions. By coming together in a conference, leaders in this industry are revealing the necessity of coming together to further transform Asian architecture to the benefit of its populations.

With mutual cooperation and bringing ideas to the table together, these experts are able to form relationships and build on existing or proposed concepts in order to create a more sustainable future for Asian architecture.
