Lavazza, the sponsor for the popular soccer club Arsenal, recently launched a new AR experience to engage fans of the team. The AR experience is part of a month-long campaign, which was created in collaboration with Blippar, and AR development company. The AR content was derived using the company’s web AR platform, and it does not mandate that users download anything for access.
The AR content is available through social media, and it allows users to see the players in a virtual format. Additionally, fans who participate can enter a contest for a chance to win a signed Arsenal jersey, and they will also receive a discount on a team-branded coffee mug, which was created by Lavazza.
