Sorare Launches the AR-Equipped 3D Digital Football Player Cards

Sorare, a Web3 fantasy sports platform, is introducing 3D digital football player cards with integrated augmented reality (AR) capabilities. This development allows Sorare Managers to engage with their 3D cards through the Sorare App in real-world settings regardless of time or location.

The initial lineup of digital cards will feature players from the English Premier League, including notable names like Erling Haaland, Marcus Rashford, and Bukayo Saka. The new cards are a great way to bolster engagement among consumers as they come to life through augmented reality, adding a new layer of interactivity and excitement to the platform.

“We want to bridge the gap between online and physical sports fandom to better serve our community of fans,” Sorare co-founder and CTO Adrien Montfort said in a press release.
