Angell Bars are an organic FairTrade Certified candy bar (the first in the world, they say) that does its best to offer delicious flavour while being gentle on the planet.
"Angell Bars are packaged in 100% recycled, 50%+ post-consumer cardboard caddies, and run their website on servers powered by renewable electricity," the company explains.
The Angell Bar assortment includes the gluten-free Angell Crisp bar, which contains milk chocolate and rice. The Snow Angell bar contains organic coconut and is covered in white chocolate, and the Dark Angell bar is vegan and perfect for chocolate lovers -- not only is it coated in dark chocolate, but the center contains cocoa and organic almonds.
Angell Bars was founded by San Diego-based husband and wife Christopher and Suzanne Angell whose love of candy bars and desire to support ethical manufacturing led to the invention of their own product. They are also part of 1% For the Planet, so donate one percent of sales to organizations that focus on sustainability.
