Taking the idea of rustic to a whole different level, this all-wood apartment even uses wood for the walls.
Located in Nishitokyo-shi, Tokyo, this unique flat design was created in this novel way to create more space for the owners without making them move to a bigger space. Designed by local architect studio Camp Design Inc, the all-wood apartment uses the creative technique of wooden partitions to divide up the interior space without taking up much space and to create a feeling of multilayered nooks and hidden areas.
The Wing Wall House renovation uses 17 plywood wing walls -- the wood partitions that are used instead of walls -- to attain the client's need for more space and give the whole place an airy and open feel.
