The Maserati Alfieri was first expected to be released in 2016, but after some delays, the vehicle is finally ready to make its debut and is poised to take on the Tesla Roadster. Designed to be an all-electric sports car, the Maserati Alfieri will feature 800V battery technology and will accelerate from 0-62 mph in under two seconds. This powerhouse will also feature an all-wheel-drive system that offers torque vectoring.
The Maserati Alfieri will be available in two different models, a coupe or convertible, with both being built of an aluminum space frame. The models will also be available in both a hybrid model in addition to its all-electric model. The all-electric version of the Maserati Alfieri will use a three-motor drivetrain and is purported to reach top speeds that exceed 186 mph.
