The Tricera is a three-wheel open-top electric autocycle that Yamaha unveiled at the Japan Mobility Show 2023. It has a unique feature of three-wheel steering, which allows the rear wheel to pivot in addition to the front wheels. The Tricera is still a concept vehicle, so its specifications, pricing, and availability are not yet announced. However, some sources suggest that it might have a range of around 100 km (62 miles) on a single charge and a top speed of 80 km/h (50 mph). The Tricera is expected to compete with other electric trikes such as the Arcimoto FUV and Roadster, which offer similar benefits of eco-friendliness, fun, and convenience. Yamaha has not revealed when the Tricera will be available for purchase, but it is likely that it will be launched in Japan first before expanding to other markets.
