Taiwanese automaker Yamaha has unveiled its newest future-forward e-bike concept called the Yamaha B-01. The new concept arrives on the heels of the brand's release of two off-road e-bikes, the Wabash RT gravel bike, and the CrossCore RC commuter bike.
However, the new concept diverges significantly from these sport-specific models by offering a versatile moped-like vehicle design that is well-suited for both the urban commuter and off-road enthusiast alike. The new e-bike will come equipped with a powerful rear-hub motor, extra-large tires, and an open-scaffold design that removes the tubing found on similarly-styled motorbikes.
According to the company, the Yamaha B-01 concept will be turned into a full production model starting at the beginning of 2023.
