Yamaha unveiled three upcoming e-bikes at its latest 'Yamaha Switch On' Youtube premiere. The new range of e-bikes includes three models, each targeted toward a different use case. The models are the 'Moro 07,' 'Wabash RT,' and 'Crosscore RC.'
The Wabash RT is a new range-focused gravel bike for the leisurely rider. This bike has a lightweight frame, a smart display, an automatic riding mode, and more that result in a comfortable experience for cyclists. This bike features a 500Wh battery and Yamaha's PW-ST drive unit, meaning the speed and range will vary based on environmental factors.
The Crosscore RC is a general purpose e-bike with no singular focus. This bike features the same battery and drive unit as the Wabash RT, but with a more standardized frame that is familiar to traditional bicycle riders.
Lastly, the Moro 07 is Yamaha's flagship electric mountain bike. This boasts the PW-X3 drivetrain which is both lighter in weight and greater in performance when compared to the PW-ST. However, this increase comes at a higher MSRP. The Moro 07 is powered by a 500Wh battery and achieves a top speed of 15.5 mph.
