The AirMule is an autonomous drone that can take off and land vertically. The drone is specially designed to withstand environments that may not be safe for helicopters, such as battlefields. In the event of an emergency, the drone can be used to airlift people to safety. With a maximum carrying capacity of 450kg and a distance of up to 31 miles, the drone could be useful for a myriad of situations.
Although the drone is still in the early stages, tests indicate that the AirMule is capable of airlifting passengers during untethered flights.
