Hong Kong-based electronics company Zorloo has released brand new in-ear headphones, dubbed Aeros, that are designed to make it possible to completely bypass the user's audio system (if it is of poor quality) and re-route the audio signal to the earphones via a digital audio connection.

These particular headphones, currently the subject of an Indiegogo campaign, feature custom 14.8 mm drivers that contribute towards top quality audio, with swappable driver modules allowing for fully customized listening.

These in-hear headphones hint at the future of headphones in that they are increasingly being thought of as more than just mere accessories designed for listening to music, but technological gadgets that are now expected to improve the quality of sound and music in addition to delivering sound to the listener's ears.
