The Adrian De Sa Garces Walvis Bay Images Showcase Pale Coloring

These Adrian De Sa Garces pictures take viewers on a faded tour of Namibia's Walvis Bay. Born in the region, Garces aims to photograph many of the areas that were dear to him as a child, many of which haven't changed over the last 20 years.

In his explanation of these pictures, Garces admits that he rarely ever stops taking snapshots when in Namibia. The country's vast and varied landscape is inspiring and eye-catching, and that is certainly apparent in his images of ivory churches, children playing on the beach, white stones and tropical trees.

Consistent within this Namibian project is Garces' depiction of pale, pastel colors. Although the photos are vivid, the tones are muted, creating a vidid memory in the minds of viewers.
