In London, a mission-led studio, magazine and creative community is encouraging "guerrilla generosity" -- random acts of thoughtfulness -- amongst its members. Lifestyle website Thoughtful is asking people to participate in the initiative A Penny For Your Thoughts to "leave things a little better than we found them."
This involved placing lots of little envelopes with a lucky penny and a note around London, with the intention of the recipient passing along the kind will. It is their hope that the random acts of thoughtfulness will spread across the city and world during a time of year when many could need it.
An envelope template is available online, so all anyone needs to do is print it out and include some spare change.
