A Little More Good is a Vancouver-based social enterprise that rallies people and businesses in the community that want to do something to give back, whether for a social cause or environmental one.
The company was founded by Katie Jeanes, a bubbly 25-year-old social entrepreneur from Vancouver who is now working on expanding the initiative to Toronto.
Currently A Little More Good consists of a daily and weekly newsletter focused on inspiring topics. They also encourage attendance to events that range from fundraisers to garbage collecting parties, all aimed at giving people the opportunity to make a difference. Katie also has a free ebook, More Good in the Hood - 100 ways to do a little more good to offer further inspiration.
"We profile good ideas, good causes, and good companies in Vancouver," the website says. "From social activism to sustainability to improving the world around you, we believe that everyone wants to be a part of something positive. We exist to help people find their niche in the city and get involved."
