Wood-Accented LA Education Centres

9 Dots Gets a Playful Interior Thanks to Design, Bitches

Located in Los Angeles, California, 9 Dots os a not-for-profit education center. The facility offers tutoring for children on a variety of topics that will surely prove extremely useful in the ever-evolving landscape of the contemporary workforce. With a strong emphasis on technology, 9 Dots focuses on developing a child’s interest in science, technology, engineering, and math. Training in STEM is delivered through a communal environment with hands-on workshops, teacher-training programmes and more.

The new 9 Dots space proves to be a playful break from the traditional class environment. The organization tapped Los Angeles studio Design, Bitches who utilized a colorful and welcoming approach to their task. While the double height ceiling definitely gives the illusion of more space, the “free-standing plywood frame [by Design, Bitches] helps divide the floor plan.”
