15 Scandalous Underwear Advertisements

As we illustrated in our recent 50 Naughty Ads That Cross the Line cluster, advertising relies heavily on using sex and skin to sell.

Naturally, using racy and provocative themes fits well with selling underwear. However, brands and ad agencies are not merely going for a “model in skimpy underwear” anymore. With new underwear brands constantly popping up, they are trying to get creative in their ad campaigns to capture the eyes (and money) of the consumer.

We have controversial ads by JBS Underwear that dressed hot women in men’s underwear and had them act as men (you have to see the video). Diesel recently had MySpace-inspired ads with an amateur vibe and just launched a new campaign that zooms in on the private areas of the models. Armani had a bulging David Beckham and a sexy Victoria Beckham join forces together for maximum effect in their recent ads.
