With Yahoo! recently purchasing Tumblr for 1.1 billion dollars, it's clear that the blogosphere, with all its opportunities for niche blogs, will be forever changed. Now's a good time to pay tribute to several goofy and hilarious blogs that serve extremely single-minded purposes. Food-faced celebrities, for instance, is a blog that photoshops pictures of food onto celebrity faces, making it look like they're a human/food hybrid.
Other blogs have been used for both hilarity and social good, such as the marriage equality Internet memes, which took Tumblr by storm by photoshopping a red equal sign into iconic pop culture photographs. These unforgettably goofy blogs are a part of Internet culture, and although Tumblr might be changing hands, niche blogs will always come in and out of Internet vogue.
