Complexity Gaming and ClaraATwork Will Host a Women-Led Tournament

Complexity Gaming and content creator Clara ‘ClaraATwork’ Gomez have announced a new women-led invite-only Apex Legends tournament. The ‘Clara’s Legends’ tournament will recruit American audio manufacturers JBL and be streamed live on Twitch, pitting 20 teams of three led by prominent female streamers against each other. The tournament currently has a six-round format, and winners will be granted a cash prize of $30,000 USD.

Additionally, the competition will differ slightly from standard esports events. Each team's communication will be restricted, and voice chat will only be available to the captain. The other two team members will thus be forced to communicate and coordinate strategies using the in-game ping mechanism.

The ‘Clara’s Legends’ tournament will be held on Dec 3, 2022.
