Today at E3, there will be an announcement about the new Super Smash Bros. Wii U. Previous editions of the game have brought back beloved Nintento characters from Super Mario to 'Mr. Game & Watch,' as well as a few non-Nintendo characters like Pikachu and Sony's Sonic the Hedgehog.

Nintendo's video game designer Masahiro Sakurai has expressed interest in possibly introducing Capcom or Namco Bandai characters into the latest edition of the game.

All that may be seen at E3 today are screencaps and confirmation of the game's real title. Although the release date of the game may not be confirmed at the Electronic Entertainment Expo, you can be sure that characters that have previously been part of the Super Smash Bros. games will be back for another round of battle.
