Tonester Paints' Products Were Central to the Zappa Nest Project

Tonester Paints — "a homegrown paint brand founded by Tony Piloseno, an artistic visionary whose journey began with viral paint-mixing videos on TikTok" — has been utilized as the central design element in the renovation of the Zappa Nest, a guest house located on the property of the former Frank Zappa residence in Los Angeles. The redesign was executed by Lars Triesch, founder of Original in Berlin and a specialist in mid-century aesthetics.

The Zappa Nest renovation project involved the application of both customized and existing colors from Tonester Paints' range. The goal was to define the atmosphere of each interior space. Playful decisions, such as painting ceilings in colors other than white, were employed to create an immersive environment.

This venture is also a milestone for the paint brand as it stands as "the first and only bespoke exterior paint project ever created by Tonester."
