After Laiterie Chalifoux launched an upscale range of high-end yogurts, it became clear that what people were really after were the glass yogurt pots—to the point where the dairy producer is now having trouble keeping up with the high consumer demands.
In the range of set-style and organic yogurt products, there are flavors, including plain, vanilla, lemon and coconut, as well as European-inspired pots with real rhubarb, fig and apricot pieces on the bottom.
Since the glass yogurt pots became a hit virtually overnight, the brand even opened up a separate website to sell the stylish jars with colorful lids as standalone items. In a true testament to the power of packaging, Martin Valiquette of Laiterie Chalifoux notes: "We invested very little in marketing for the launch. We just sent out samples, got some press, and things went crazy."
