The Y-3 Spring/Summer 2013 collection builds upon the collaborations sterling ability to create futuristic fashions for the present.

Celebrating his 10-year anniversary as an Adidas collaborative partner, Yohji Yamamoto is renowned for his ornately structured garments that flatter the forms of men and women alike. The 2013 summer collection is both a celebration of the anniversary as well as a complete re-imagining of his place with the sporting goods retailer with many of the designs branching outward towards wearable couture-like garments. Vibrant floral prints are utilized for a number of active wear pieces, but are balanced with minimalistic frocks that highlight an ability to be worn day or night. The advertising campaign for the Y-3 Spring/Summer 2013 collection is an almost time-lapse set of photographic captures that feature flowing waves of futuristically pleasing fashion.
