adidas Y-3 Presents New Shoes Inspired by Contra-Natural

Yohji Yamamoto is a long-term partner of adidas with its joint Y-3 premium label, and its new range of footwear is defined by the concept of Contra-Natural. The duo has previously launched the Y-3 Qasa High, which is a shoe that nods to the mid-2010s and is set to launch once again this year.

During the recent Paris Fashion Week, the brand unveiled its designs for the Spring/Summer 2024 season with sophisticated looks led by its footwear. The aforementioned Contra-Natural concept is the main theme behind the looks. It is a perspective that explores beauty in the duality that exists between the idea of organic and synthetic. The shoes including the Gendo, Itogo, and Kyasu have an avant-garde look.
