Y-3 Presents the GENDO Sneaker for the SS23 Season

Y-3 presents a look at its new GENDO sneaker model joining its roster for the Spring/Summer 2023 season. Yohji Yamamoto and adidas Originals are no strangers to one another, fusing their expertise together for years. The latest marks 20 years of collaborative work, delivering innovative looks for two decades.

The GENDO sneakers may be one of the duo's most avant-garde silhouettes yet and were first seen during the SS23 show walking down the runways. At the root of the GENDO is a humble Superstar silhouette adorned with premium leather materials throughout the upper and retains the shell toe. The base foundation is seen with a tall platform sole unit that is autographed by Yohji Yamamoto. It comes in two colorways of all-black or white and black -- it is set to launch on October 21st.
