Xylobands Let the Audience Become a Part of the Performance

Xylobands are a new concert accessory designed to include fans in the performance. The wristbands are fitted with LED lights and receive radio signals that tell them what colors to flash and when. Xylobands were recently used by Coldplay during its European legs of their tour.

The band handed out 50,000 Xylobands to fans, creating a crazy display of flashing light throughout its performance. The concert-goers were allowed to keep their wristbands as souvenirs afterwards. Bands, singers and rappers have always tried to get the audience involved in the performance, although they usually do it through sing-alongs. The company is currently attempting to expand the use of Xylobands, and is attempting to appeal to bigger brands looking to try a new form of marketing.
