The Xiaomi Wearable Speaker Lets Users "Feel" The Music

Designer Ivan Zhurba has unveiled his concept for the Xiaomi Wearable Speaker, an all-new kind of audio device that is designed to be worn on listeners' forearms.

While the new speaker certainly boasts a futuristic aesthetic, its unconventional design is more than just an attention-grabbing detail. The device has been built with the intention of allowing users to "feel" the music that they are listening to. The speaker, which literally straps to a user's arm, emits vibrations, closely mimicking the feeling of being at a concert where people often describe the sensation of having the music move through their bodies.

To accomplish this unique audio experience, the Xiaomi Wearable Speaker comes equipped with a 14000mAh battery pack, a one-of-a-kind tubular design, and two double-sided drivers that vibrate both outwards and inwards.
