Jenn Bell's Artwork is Wonderfully Rustic Visual Poetry

Jenn Bell's designs are visual poetry. In fact, her description of the process on her website is written in poetic verse. She says,
"They're glass
On copper
The glass is ground finer than sugar
And sifted onto a copper plate
Then it's placed in a small electric kiln
The drawings are made from copper wire
They sink into the first layer of glass
And get filled with a different color."

Jenn Bell likes to guide copper wire, but ultimately will let the artwork dictate its own course.
The end results are wonderfully whimsical copper pieces that evoke a feeling of old meets new. They seem loud with personality and yet muted all at the same time. No doubt a collection of these Jenn Bell pieces mounted together will transform any dull wall into a dreamscape.
