The New Whole Foods Campaign is Its First Under Amazon Ownership

Amazon made big headlines and rocked the stock market with its acquisition of Whole Foods, and the new Whole Foods campaign is the first series of ads from the grocery store since that change in ownership. The campaign depicts more or less average experiences at Whole Foods' locations, with short, 15-second clips in humorous yet relatable situations.

There are several spots that have been produced by the campaign, all of which show relatively unremarkable situations. One, for example, shows a shopper deciding between two pineapples, with a helpful staff member giving him the best choice by smelling them. Another has a shopper spending a little too much time at the free sample table, though the staff member there doesn't seem to mind. The general message seems to be that the average person can feel comfortable with the warmth and expertise of the Whole Foods team.
