With Apple's new HomePod having been released only a few weeks ago, the tech giant is pushing its smart home speaker with a series of ads, and 'Welcome Home by Spike Jonze' is one of the most impressive to date. Jonze, who directed critically praised films like 'Being John Malkovitch' and 'Her', creates a dazzling world with the help of musician FKA Twigs, who plays the ad's protagonist.
After a bleak commute home from work, Twigs' character arrives back at her apartment and asks her HomePod to "play me something I'd like." Siri responds with 'Til It's Over' by Anderson .Paak, and as Twigs start to move to the music, her drab reality begins to shift into a technicolor, kaleidoscopic dream world. Twigs dances through her new universe, even pairing with a doppleganger for a fun duet.
