This infographic displays the essential web design principles you should keep in mind when starting your next project. From digital agency Pixel Hero, '4 Essential Principles of Good Web Design' breaks it down into four categories: spacing, navigation, color palette and image size.
The first of the web design principles outlines three aspects of space, which make things clearer. Line spacing, padding and white space are all important elements to consider. Site navigation needs to be easy to use and designed with the user in mind. Color palette is about choosing a consistent and cohesive color scheme with exactly three hues. Using the proper image size is also important as the Internet is based on pixels and using a too-small picture could result in a lack of clarity with photos.
